A ‘Concierge’ Physical Therapy Model

Rochelle’s Personalized Approach Means More One-On-One Time with your PT, available when you need it most!

Rochelle was ‘raised’ in a forward-thinking physical therapy environment, where they worked towards restructuring the traditional insurance-based PT model to better meet the needs of patients. It turns out that this looks a lot like the relationship you have with your primary care or family doctor - except one that specializes in your physical wellness! Typically you see your doctor once or twice a year for routine check up. If everything looks good, you’re free to go with a clean bill of health until your next check-in. But, if during the period between your check-ins you begin to have pain or a concern, you should call your doctor for an immediate assessment and treatment to get back to normal.

At Rochelle’s, you’ll be able to access PT in this same way to take care of issues as they arise, rather than waiting weeks or even months to be seen by a physical therapist. This allows us to fully embrace a preventative model for physical therapy. In this way, we can help prevent small issues from developing into injury, larger health problems, or functional decline. So take control of your PT needs and let us be your on-call physical medicine doctor!

"Rochelle is an extremely knowledgeable, well-educated and dedicated Physical Therapist. I felt very fortunate that I found a therapist like Rochelle in this area. In fact, I would say that she is one of the very best therapists I have encountered, and I have had many. Not only is she an outstanding therapist, she also has this wonderful nurturing personality. You know in your heart that she is there for you. She inspires you to want to do well under her treatment. I do consider her a gifted healer.

While living in Damariscotta, I had many treatments by Rochelle ranging from improving my balance, treating neurological problems, and dealing with severe neck and back problems after a fall, and later, a bad car accident. In addition she also treated my right knee which was extremely painful ('bone on bone' osteoarthritis). Due to her outstanding training, competency, empathy for others, and the never ending encouragement, all of my problems improved considerably, especially my balance problem. From not being able to stand without any support, I was able to stand and walk with very little support! I would highly recommend Rochelle to anyone."

Why ‘Concierge’ Physical Therapy?

In order to serve our patients in the ways described, Rochelle’s PT Studio is a cash-based practice. You will quickly feel the difference in the value of the services you receive at all points of contact. This means that you do not need a doctor’s referral to see Rochelle, and we do not accept insurances. Upon request we will provide you with a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance for partial or full reimbursement for an ‘out-of-network’ service.

You will always see Rochelle for your appointments. The individualized, focused sessions lead to faster results and quicker outcomes. With insurances today, many co-payments range from $30-60 dollars per physical therapy visit. Most physical therapy clinics will see a patient from 12-16 visits or more, and only be allowed to focus on one diagnosis or body part at a time. We do not have co-payments, we charge a set rate per session, and the value in what you receive at each visit leads to less overall visits!
